We stepped away, but now we’re back.

Why yes, it has been a while since we’ve posted to the ol’ blog. But, we feel like we have a pretty good excuse. In a nutshell, we decided to quit our jobs, sell our house, buy a truck, borrow a trailer, pack up all our belongings and move to another state to pursue our artistic interests on a full-time basis. OK, it’s not that big a deal, but it’s the only excuse we have.

The mountains of Virginia and West Virginia have always been our Siren’s Song and we finally succumbed, crashing into the rocks along the shores of the New River. Damn the luck. Our new home is Narrows, Virginia. It’s a cool little town in a stunningly beautiful area. Yep, we think we’ll like it here. The last several months have been spent transforming a neglected old house into our studio space. With that chore nearly accomplished, it’s time to get back to work, doing what we came here to do; weave, weld, and create. So far, so good.

We promise to keep the blog more regular so everybody will know just what we’re up to. Check back often, shows are a springing and our real jobs have become far more accommodating to our creative endeavors.
